No more uniforms

The school uniform policy is important to the county but it's not that important the students. The principal should let us where whatever we want. Its a way of expressing ourselves. I don't understand why we have to wear uniform. Students should have the right to wear whatever they want. Some of the students are forced to wear uniforms. Sometimes I wonder why all the schools in the county don't wear uniforms. I wish that our principal would let us wear whatever we want. Its not fair. Everybody is different and they have their own style. Style is the way that you are ,how you dress and your personality. Not wearing uniform is getting to shoe you style and how you feel.for example if you want to be a fashion designer you could show your style when you where what you what to school. I dont think wearing uniform helps the students. Some uniforms are exepensive to buy. And you can't find them in some stores. In g James gholson middle school we have to wear full uniform including black shoes and a tie. And we only get to dress down once a week. We should at least have more dress down days. I think that we can earn the right to wear what we want. If we wear uniform everyday and not get in any trouble. We can prove to our principal by being good scholars. I also think that having a dress down day is a good way of expressing ourselves.if we get together than we can prove to our principal that we deserve to wear what we wany

More Field Trips !!

  Students need more need time to get out of school and learn at the same time . So when students go to field trips they feel relaxed and comfortable seeing new things . Alot of students work hard for a chance to go on field trips . Students like getting exited about going on field trips . In oreder to learn a kid has to gain interest but not just by looking at the board .
    
  I know how it feels to be a student becouse i am one . Everytime i hear about a field trip that we are about to have i get very exited . Most students like to go on field trips to have a chance to hang out with their friends and explore with them . I am always hearing my class mates saying "im bored " and "i wish class would be over " . Even i say that because sometimes i get so bored .

If you are also tired of seeing students distracted and not paying attention then i think that spending more money on field trips would be worth it . Over 500 students said that they would do their best if they get rewarded by field trips . When students go on a field trips they get the same feeling of a worker getting one day of vacation. They get happy and full of joy . Field trips help student cherish the time they spent with their teachers .

 I can garantee you that once students hear about having more field trips they will work harder to get the chance to go . I love field trips because im getting the chance to laugh and learn new facts about where i am . Field trips also open a new world for kids . They learn to understand new things easily . They have fun and get alot of creative thinking and ideas . I like going to field trips and coming back with my head full of new information that i never knew .

Think about the kids that skip school because they think school is boring . 75%that kids dont go to school is because they think school is a waste of time . All those kids that skipped school will now be hard for them to find a job and go to college . Now that you know why you should spend more money on field trips , hopefully you will .

  The governor should keep the driving age at 16. What age did your parents start driving? Teens should be able because some kids deserve a car and need a car at that age. Mostly for sweet 16 parents get there kids cars. Other teens if they have jobs they need a way to get around. They can ride metro but what if its too crowded or you miss the bus? So yeah keep it!
  It benifits some of us. So please keep it at 16. Like when you turn 16 your parents expect you to be more responsible and they think that your mature enough to get one. Your parents might not wanna transport you nomore. I will need it when im 16.
  Weren't you 16 once. How did you get back and forth to work? By metro,bike,motorcycle maybe even walking!!??? What if you also needed a way to school. You don't need a fancy car something slight will do. But what do you think!!!!
     How did most teens get back and forth?? Its nothing wrong with the metro,train I just think its less money. Most cars are safe but it is dangerous in a way. But this debate I will win and my opinion will turn into a fact!!!!!!! But consider my counter argument!!!!
 

The school should spend more money on technology than field trips.The new technology will improve the school.When your improve a school, you make better and smarter students.If the school spends more money on field trips the kids wouldn't learn anything. Technology helps students get information, getting information is good.
I like field trips but it's only for a little while.Technology may last a long time.I like field trips because I'm a kid but I also want to get smarter. Spending more money on technology will make me smarter. I know, teachers like smarter students.
If someone asks,kids learn on field trips to, I say that they have so much fun they forget as soon as they come back to school. Technology is fun too. If the school spends more money on field trips, they are wasting money because it's only for 4 classes or less. Technology may last for 10 years.
I'm skid and I also like technology. A computer is technology that can help us get information and it could be fun to. Parents care for thier children but more for thier education. Technology can get them smarter. Using technology helps them learn mor of how to use technology.
No parent wants an unintelligent child. When the parents aren't happy, the school looses money. The school can't have unintelligent students. Some field trips you need to pay for it. The technology is given to us for free. Thats my reason why the school should spend more money on technology.

Sex Ed Taught In School

Topic: The school board should require Sex Ed to be taught in school. The school board should NOT require students to be taught Sex Ed because the students wouldn't be old enough to understand the concept of sexual education. The students are not mature enough to learn about sexual Ed. It gives ideas about it and they might start to think that the teachers teaching them so they they are influencing the students to have sex at 14-16 years of age. The students will think the teachers are making them think it's okay to have sex. But the students should learn the safety of having sex like the STD's ( sexual transmitted disease). More things like using condoms and medications.

HI Im Ante'Nia Turner! I'm writing to you about why you shouldnt join social Networks. Yes I'm against it and my goal is to persuade you. You should stay of and not join social Networks. You should not join social networks such as Facebook, bebo, MySpace, ect. Because think.....Kids/teens! Some adults take inappropriate pictures. People may also mastake young adults for their age. Think...If that was your son or daughter Would you want someone getting the wrong image of them? A social Network can change someone's life All around!!! Another good topic to talk about is the talking/comments. Most bullying usually starts on social networks! Someone may leave a comment and may take it personal. Also singe your typing/writing the Reader can not se if you happy, sad, mad, serious,ect. Now does that ring a bell? Social networks also take up A-lot of time! People spend about 1-2 hours on the computer/Internet. Most teens spend time on their phone weather their at home, school, store, ect. It's takes up a-lot of time A-LOT! With all this time you can be doing something useful,catching up on work,cleaning,helping,doing things that help and make a difference. So that is some Reasons why you shouldn't join Social networks! They cause a big distraction and can use many people time. Mostly for safety reasons. So think about all the things you do on social networks! Think about what other people do on social networks! Lastly think about the effects it has on you!

    Everyone knows Beyonce right? She is like the most famous singer out there. Many young ladies look up to her and wish to be her one day. What if she said something or did something wrong those young ladies might start doing the same thing because they think it's going to get them successful just like Beyonce is. So is it ok for people to misbehave just because they see their leaders doing it.

    I'm not a celebrity but I'm a kid that look up to lots of singers and famous dancers. If they start doing wrong things sense I'm young and get influenced easily I'm going t o think it's ok to misbehave to because the people that are doing it is successful so maybe if I do I will become successful to.

    Or what if Rihanna is was the #1 person I look up to and I hope to be just like her one day I don't but I'm just saying and you might say something like I should learn to be my own person well what if I don't know how to be my own person or I'm making bad decisions. I will need a role model to look up to but if their making bad decisions to then I going to continue to do it what I been doing.

    You may also say that kids should look up other people that has better careers like lawyers and doctors. Well what if they don't want to be a doctor or a lawyer they really wnt to be a singer so they should be able to look up to beyonce as a role model. So celebrities should recognize that kids and young adults look up to them and hope to be as good as them some day. But what if their favorite singer is doing drugs and coursing everyone out then they will most likely do the same thing because they want to be just like their favorite singer. 

    So what I'm trying to say is celebrities should really watch what they do and say because some young Child is looking up to them and will follow their bad actions if they do not stop. Would you like for your leader to be doing drugs and coursing out people? I sure wouldn't.

My essay

                      People should be able to drive at 16 because 16 year old should experience freedom and independence at an early age. Plus being sixteen and driving increase the brain power by 12% . But the longer people wait the more brain power decreases. Without driving you can't get a job.If you can't get a job then you can't get a house. If you can't get a house you will become a homeless person .If you become a homeless you can't eat or drink.If you can't eat or drink soon enough you will die.Just  because you never had a car so  sixten year old people need to be quick to get a car if you don't it will be too late  . 60% of people think you can die because of young age but you can't it's old age you should be worried about.you can become blind deaf and etc.

Driving age should be at 18

 The governor should keep driving age at 18.The reasons is that there is safety issues for people under 18.People under 18 is usually not responsible in driving cars.Sometimes people under 18 will just mess around in their cars and don't follow rules like put your seatbelts on.Also sometimes people under 18 don't follow rules like don't drive over redlights.
 Why I think driving age should be 18 because some people didn't learn how to drive.Like me I'm 12 years old I know little things you need to do when you drive just by watching my dad drive.Some rules like stop at redlights and move at greenlights almost everyone knows.Although I know those rule I still need to get an driver's license when I'm 18 or older.So people under age should not drive.
 Also if your not 18 and your under age and drive you could been in a hospital anyday.When your driving you could been drunk, you could have an accident then.There is all kinds of possible outcomes to you like injuries or even death.When you look at newspaper or anything that have an article you can see news about people injured because they were careless or maybe even drunk while driving.When your online on the Internet you can even find and watch videos of people driving then later on they end up injured and usually it's teens because they could be using drugs trying to show off, or even dared to.
 So I think that people under 18 should not get a driving license now not tomorrow but today they should stop.Also sometimes people driving also don't follow rules like put your seatbelt on or maybe don't drive faster than the speed limit.I still think why sometimes people don't have an health insurance and still drive without any protection for themself until they can't afford for help for there injuries.Also most of my friends want to drive already but they can't yet,and that show they may drive early.So if you driving now you should stop.
 So now you know the risk you have to get your driving license to drive only at age 18 or older.There is a lot of ways that you can get injured and one of them is driving.You can even get injured or kill by driving a car while calling on a phone.There is many outcomes in your life and this is one out of millions of outcomes can happen.So now you know you should really stop driving while doing something reckless and being under age 18.

My opinion to keep driving age at 16 is I agree. 16 is a good age to learn so they can learn so they can start doing other things. They can start their own life. Be able to help with the family. There was reason why it was at 16 in the first place. There was many good reasons why the driving age should be 16. One reason is they won't have to rely on their parents to drive them places. Some adults rely on their older kids to help out. They can learn a life lesson earlier in life. And they can work on other life lessons. There are some bad reasons you would think about in this situation. You would think about the safety of your children. This is why cars like Ford have updated their safety of the driver. Better protection for our love ones. The airbags are there to protect us from injuring ourselves. Stastics say 2 out of 3 people agree with the age staying the same. 1 out of 3 people say it helps with their career. 2 out of 3 say it helps outcwith their family. 1 out of 2 they spend more outside then inside. 3 out of 4 say it improves their lives. There are so many reason why it should stay the same. We have them from statics to opinions. We all have opinions but mines and others to keep it. Hopefully others will see these facts. Since it's still 16 then they must agree with me.
